Day 106: Faithfulness in the Slow Start

Today we read 1 Samuel 24-26 and Psalms 54 and 57. This story is about David’s many adventures before becoming king. It’s about David waiting for God and asking God what to do when conflict and danger arise instead of taking the opportunity to kill Saul. Even though David was appointed king several chapters ago, we see David’s faithfulness to wait on the Lord’s timing and method, even if or when David may not see the when or how he will become king.
